Margaret & Emma relies on donations for all of our work in Uganda. If you would like to contribute to our organization, you can do so online below, or via check mailed to the address below.

Our current projects are a tailoring shop, and a hair salon. You can read more about these projects on our News page. These projects are expensive, but they will allow us to help low income individuals to gain new skills that will earn a consistent income. To set up, the tailoring shop will cost $1,500, and the salon will cost $6,500. We intend to fund the tailoring shop first, and it has the lowest startup cost.

All donations made will go towards these efforts. If you would like to support a specific project, please note that on your donation, and we will make sure the funds go where intended.

In addition to new projects, we still need help supporting our office and bakery. While the bakery does cover most of its costs, it still needs donations to operate. There is a breakdown of monthly expenses on our Project Funding page.

For donations in the United States, we have partnered with FirstFruits Foundation, a private foundation, who sends donations directly to Uganda. This allows us to focus on our work in Uganda without needing to set up our own 501c3 in the United States. FirstFruits Foundation is working with us free of charge.

 

If you would like to do donate via check, please make checks out to FirstFruits Foundation, and note that it is for Margaret & Emma. This will ensure the funds get to Uganda.
